Care and Maintenance

As with all precision instruments, your STEELIO® watch should be checked at least once every two years.  You should only bring your watch to a certified watch repair center.  To keep your watch water-resistant, you should make sure that its sealing features are thoroughly tested at every service.

The water resistance level of your watch is located on the case back.

Ex:  100m = 100 meters = 330 feet / 200m = 200 meters = 660 feet / 300m = 300 meters = 990 feet

Five basic tips for proper care and maintaining the water-resistance of your STEELIO® watch:

  • (1) Have your watch checked regularly.
  • (2) Do not move the watch crown when you are in water.
  • (3) Rinse off your watch with fresh water after any immersion in seawater.
  • (4) Make sure to dry your watch whenever it gets wet or moisture develops.
  • (5) Have a certified watch repair center check the water resistance on your watch after the case has been opened.
