STEELIO® 2-YEAR WARRANTY

Steelio, Inc. will, within two (2) years from date of purchase, repair or replace (at our option) the movement of your STEELIO® watch free of charge if such movement proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use.

 

The finish on STEELIO® ion-plated finished watches will be warranted for a period of two (2) years against flaking and peeling only; scratching/erosion due to normal wear and tear is not covered. The case and/or bracelet will be refinished or replaced (at our option) should such finish prove to be defective in material or workmanship.

 

This warranty does not cover batteries, leather straps, or crystals, nor does it cover damage arising from normal wear, scratches, accidents or misuse, or from any alteration, service or repair performed by any non-certified watch repair center.

 

This warranty is void if the timepiece was not purchased from an STEELIO® Authorized Dealer, as evidenced by a valid hologramed guarantee card and proof of purchase. 

 

To be valid (for watches purchased from any Authorized Dealer in the United States and International), the hologramed guarantee card must have the Authorized Retailer's name, must be duly completed, dated and stamped by the STEELIO® Authorized Dealer.

 

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have additional legal rights under applicable laws which may vary from State to State and Country to Country, and which are not affected by the terms of this warranty.

 

WARRANTY/ SERVICE QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Do I need to register my guarantee card with you?

You do not have to register your watch or guarantee card with us. However, we recommend you keep both your hologramed guarantee card and proof of purchase in a safe place after purchase. To provide service under the warranty protection guidelines, we require documentation in the form of a valid hologramed guarantee card and proof of purchase in the form of a sales receipt from a STEELIO® Authorized Dealer. Please note, 'valid guarantee cards' must have the Authorized Dealer's name, must be duly completed, dated and stamped by the Authorized Dealer.

 

Do I get an additional warranty after you repair my watch?

If Steelio, Inc. performs any service on your watch (other than providing an estimate) we warranty the work for one year.

 

Do I need to keep my guarantee card?

Can my local jeweler service my watch, or will it void my warranty?

The warranty on all of our watches states that we will not accept watches for repair under warranty if someone other than Steelio, Inc. or a certified repair center opens the watch. The warranty will be considered void and of no effect if the watch is opened by such person or business. Therefore, we encourage consumers to send watches, which are under warranty, to Steelio, Inc. or a certified repair center. Please note: An Authorized Dealer is NOT necessarily a STEELIO® Certified Repair Center.

 

If a watch is no longer under warranty, anyone who has proper technical training and equipment may perform repairs on our products. However, the ultimate responsibility is with the service provider. Steelio, Inc. is not responsible for the work of any such service providers and may not be able to repair any damage caused by such service provider.
